AUSKICK
If you’re a kid over 5, start your football journey by attending our 10 week Auskick program! Introductory ball skills & footy basics.

Minis Football
For all kids aged between 7-12 join Super Cubs, Cubs, Sub Minis, and Minis. Train on Thursdays and play on Saturdays in fun scratch matches!

Junior Football
For Junior Colts (under 14) and Senior Colts (under 17) register here. Competitive footy begins!

Net Set Go
Run on a separate day to BMW trainings, this program is for all kids R- year 3 and teaches basic ball skills, netball knowledge and develops friendships.

Minis Netball
Minis and Sub Minis is open to kids in Grades 4,5,6. They train and play non scored games. Learning the basics of netball covering the SET & GO areas of the NET SET GO program..

Junior Netball
I and J Grade are the A and B teams for our kids aged 13 and under. G and H Grades are the A and B teams for our kids aged 17 and under. Premiership points count here!

Junior Football & Netball should be about enjoyment, skill development and the love of the game.

Above all the safety of our junior players is paramount. We promote a safe, inclusive and friendly environment for all children and young people. We also have zero tolerance to mistreatment and abuse of children and young people.

At BMW we have developed strong connections between our junior and senior players. Buddy nights, mentoring programs, footy cards and VIP days are just a few of the ways we promote friendships, interactions and skill development throughout our whole club.

BMW is a family club and we offer a range of activities and opportunities for our juniors and their families to partake in. From SANFL Grandfinal trips, free BBQ teas, face painting, movie nights, the Cubs Den and so much more we love to see our kids enjoy their days and nights around the club!

The BMW Junior Committee has been recently developed and implemented, to be a voice for all things juniors. The current committee is made up of 7 club members equally representing both football and netball.
It is our role to organise special events and activities relating to junior players and communicate and collaborate with the senior football and netball committees with anything pertaining to juniors.
We are also a sounding board for parents who have questions or concerns about any junior issues. We are happy to guide you through the right processes be it, general enquires such as uniforms, registration, gameday information, training times etc or bigger queries, we are here to help.
We also support and guide new football coaches from Auskick through to Mini Colts and team managers, scorers, umpires etc in Junior and Senior Colts where necessary.
If you are keen to be part of the committee, please have a chat to one of us about what information and checks etc the club require from you and how you can be involved!
Junior initiatives
We’re passionate about junior participation on and off the field and run fun activities and events that include every member of the club! Some of our recent initiatives have been:
Junior Footy Card initiative which has seen over 300 past and present players represented on a card.
Junior Players Night performance which saw the kids win an Australia Day Award in 2023 for Best Community Event and raise approximately $5000
VIP Netballers program where kids partake in specialised training and are then treated to lunch in the VIP area watching our A Graders, and;
Junior Buddy Night Event which encourages bonds between our junior and senior players.
